Dreamy Un-Themed Alice in Wonderland Nursery

Baby/ Design/ Home/ Pregnancy

After two years trying to conceive and an IVF journey, Cleveland mama Kristin Moore and her husband brought home their little miracle, Alice, in July. They never planned on naming her Alice or being inspired by Alice in Wonderland for this super sweet un-themed nursery, but they did, and the result is beautiful.

Adorable Coral Colored Kids Bathroom

Design/ Home

Looking for the right bathroom look for fall . . . or any time of year, really? Check out this super adorable coral colored bathroom! My daughter absolutely loves it, but I think it’s great for adults, too. I found this lovely look while hunting for the right bathroom setup for the apartment we’re moving into before our house is built (it has two shower/bath combos and we only have one now), and since our move has been a bit delayed I decided to set it up for us to enjoy a bit early. Whether you have a big kid or a tot, this new design will make using the bathroom fun and functional! Read more

My New White, Black & Gold Home Office

Design/ Home

For the past 5 years my work desk has been covered in the kiddo’s stuff . . . and her crayon drawings. It didn’t provide enough space for proper work room but has sentimental value so I kept it. But with the kiddo starting full-day school in just a few weeks and my brand new computer arriving about the same time I decided it’s time to stop working from my bed and make myself a real office space! I’m so excited, guys. So excited!  Read more

Choosing the Right Rug For the Kiddo’s Bedroom

Design/ Home

Whether the kids room rug is based more on their need for one or your preference, there are a few things to think about when choosing the right one. I recently got rid of a giant white shag rug in S’ room because the pets thought it was grass they could pee on (ew) and started my own hunt for just the right rug to bring her new room together. Keep reading for how I found the right one, and tips for picking your own rug.

DIY Lighted Pom Pom Wall Flowers & Kitchen

Design/ Home

I don’t know about your kids’ rooms, but my daughter’s room recently became a giant disaster zone. She couldn’t keep it clean and I was tired of doing it for her, so the room needed to change. I took everything out and moved the bed to another spot, leaving the one white wall in her otherwise pink room bare. It’s a poorly painted white chalk wall that didn’t pan out because it’s textured (and because I may not have mixed the ingredients to do that correctly). My solution? Create a brand new, bright theme for her room — Starting with this white wall and the leftover paper  flowers from my the Mother’s Day Brunch I hosted. Keep reading to see how easy it is to glam up your blank walls and enter to win a $400 room makeover of your own! Read more

Simple DIY House-Shaped Kids Bunk Bed to Make This Weekend

Design/ Home

After searching for the perfect new bunk bed for our boys’ bedroom, we decided to come up with our own tutorial for a house bunk bed. House Beds are a huge trend right now. I saw my first house bed over a year ago and I fell in love and I swore that as soon as we built our daughter a toddler bed someday, I would make a super cute pink house bed, decorated in cute pom-pom buntings and it would be perfect. Well, it’s been a year and she’s only 16 months old — Still a ways away from being in a toddler bed. But we’re in the process of decorating our boys’ bedroom and needed to build them a new bunk bed set as their old set was massive and took up half their room, so why not use this as an opportunity to make a house bed? The only problem was I couldn’t find a tutorial for one, let alone a picture . . . so I got to drawing. Keep reading for this one-of-a-kind weekend DIY House-Shaped kids bunk bed tutorial (minus the bed rail which was added on later). Read more

Pillowfort Kids Outer Space Room Design

Design/ Home

I don’t know about you, but aside from a few items (not buying my kid a tepee or animal head for the wall) I’m pretty much in love will Pillowfort at Target. Well, I love Target in general. Kids rooms are my absolute favorite to decorate because the possibilities are endless — and the new Pillowfort line has given parents even more options! I like some Circo stuff but the overall characters weren’t my fave. I’m also not a fan of having giant princess faces (or whatever character) on everything in my child’s room — I prefer themes that aren’t outgrown with each new movie that comes out. This month’s room design is all about the little astronaut in your life. Keep reading for all the details! Read more
