Babies go through a lot of clothes in their first year, so how do you keep it all organized? Between baby showers, growth spurts and hand-me-downs you definitely need to have a system in place. Keep reading for my tips on organizing baby’s clothes in the first year.
Fox themed baby items are everywhere right now (and I think you’ll see more of them in 2018). Without realizing it, I bought River a little fox Christmas toy as well as a hooded blanket and stuffed animal! So when my Gerber Childrenswear Brand Ambassador onesies arrived in the mail I was stoked to see that they were fox themed and have cool 3-D pieces and textures! You might know Gerber Childrenswear from the plain white onesies used at baby showers for everyone to decorate, but the brand has so much more available, including several new lines in partnership with Target, like the fox onesies I got! I’m not always totally on top of getting festive for the different seasons and holidays but we’re big fans of Christmas at my house and I’m pretty sure it’s my daughter’s favorite holiday so I try to make it memorable every year with a few simple traditions we can do as a family. This year is extra special because the baby gets to join in on the fun for his first Christmas! Read more
I haven’t dressed up for Halloween in years. I’m pretty sure the last time was when S was 2 and I made a DIY Flintstones costume for us. But this year, the kids and I are matching thanks to this super easy butterfly, flower and bee themed family costume idea.

There are so many different cute styles of baby clothes now that I’ve been so excited about Spring! When you’re a mama to a baby each outfit carries so much importance as your little one wears it while doing everything for the first time. I knew that I wanted a very special outfit for River to wear during Spring to celebrate both Easter and Mother’s Day and I found the absolutely cutest dapper spring style for baby that I just had to share!
The idea of a capsule wardrobe has been a big sensation for the last few years but it’s been a thing for a lot longer than that in the world of motherhood. You see, no matter how many outfits you own it always seems to come down to the same few outfits that you pull out of the clean clothes hamper then have to immediately wash again because of some sort of gross mishap. It’s at this point that you start to wonder if you even have any other clothes (and if they still fit)! So I thought it would be fun to share three pieces of clothing that can be mixed and matched to look like different outfits for Spring. Keep scrolling to see them all! Read more
My daughter is 5 and would go days without brushing here hair if I didn’t ask her to before we leave the house for the day. I’ll admit that there are still days she doesn’t do it. Why? I’m one of those parents that feels it’s her body, her hair. So as long as it’s clean, looks OK and we’re not on our way to go get pictures I might ask her to brush her hair or let it go. I’d prefer she did her hair, though, so I introduced her to some items that would make doing her hair a bit less frightening (for both of us) and guess what? They work! Read more
