Watch to the end with sound on 😍 Wes was so exc Watch to the end with sound on 😍 Wes was so excited when he heard himself in this video and saw these interactions 🥰 He’s been seeing @drkatewongdc since hust a few months old (and sooner if you count while I was pregnant with him) so similar to our infant massage time together, his chiro time is familiar and something he looks forward to! Some reasons families see a pediatric chiro: -Oral ties -Birth trauma -Breastfeeding/chestfeeding troubles -Head shape -Developmental delays -Stress responses (baby upset a lot?) -Constipation -Torticollis and also general neck pain -Crawling The list goes on! We tend to think of birth trauma as something held We tend to think of birth trauma as something held onto soley by the birther but birth and so many other things are traumatic for babies and isntead of processing the emotions (because they can’t), it’s held within them as tension (like bracing for a car crash). That constant state of fight it flight can be exhausting. We also tend to forget that babies and littles can have headaches, back aches, and so much more that they don’t know how to verbalize. And unless an MD points out a severe developmental delay, these can go unnoticed because parents aren’t always told to pay attention to it. So what can you do? Infant massage! This is a soothing option to help your baby while also learning to communicate and bond with them- all at home! You could also play ring toss! My 1-year-old and I are having fun with our blcok set today (we’ve had it for years for the older kids to play with) and learning new ways to play with it.
