When you get that self-care routine down 🥰 Try When you get that self-care routine down 🥰 Try some of these facial massage techniques with your skincare routine to reduce tension and let me know how it goes!

#ad I found RetinAll Daily Serum by @serovital Beauty at @costco and it’s been a staple in my evening skincare routine while the kids take a bath since. It’s never been sold in Costco before! RetinAll Daily Serum visibly lifts sagging skin, noticeably brightens, and improves the appearance of wrinkles and elasticity. Retinol formulas can be drying and irritating, but this hydrating retinoid is
different -super important for my dry postpartum skin! In fact, in a clinical study, 100% of participants had no irritation.

Right now, it’s just $35 for two bottles, which is an insanely good deal. Don’t miss it – run to Costco now!

Are you team yay or nay when it comes to wipe warm Are you team yay or nay when it comes to wipe warmers? Wipe warmers are a multi-use favorite of mine so they’re my share today for baby items you can use long after your baby outgrows diapers (if taken care of). You obviously need to be careful not to contaminate all wipes in the container with each use BUT I am a huge fan of warmers (keep reading for a list on why).

I’m always the odd one out when I recommend them (I say skip the crib and get the warmer 🤫) because YOU CANNOT SPOIL A BABY but you can offer kindness and warmth as they adjust to this new to them world. And, it’s OK if you don’t have it when not at home (though they make travel ones) or all the time, it’s still a kindness that makes a difference when at home. A good wipe warmer (not all are great) can:

-Help with nighttime diaper changes (less wakings when you really need to address a blowout)

-Be less jarring than a cold wipe in winter

-Be useful for getting really sticky poo off babies or tots (even potty learning older kiddos, just don’t flush the wipes)

-Are nice for after meal hand or face wiping if needed…

-Come in handy when cleaning eyes for conjunctivitis (different corners and water only wipes)

-Work with disposable or reusable wipes

-Doubles as a washcloth/ towel warmer for the bathroom when no longer needed for just diapers to help with mini self-care sessions or makeup removal

What are some things you would add to this list? Did I convince you? 😂 If you need help creating a baby registry cuatom to your family’s unique needs, swnd me a DM! It’s a service I love to offer using my experience as a mom to 5, postpartum educator & doula, and lactation counselor ❤️

Baby stacking toys can be wonderful for practicing Baby stacking toys can be wonderful for practicing baby’s core strength and coordination when they are starting to sit but did you know they’re also perfect for playing horseshoe and ring toss?!

I’m a HUGE fan of extending the use of baby items by coming up with new uses so this was a lot of fun- and worked out really well for Wes’ Wild One or Wild Wes(t) first birthday party! All the details about his birthday party are available via the link in my bio. Trust me, you’ll want to check it out 😍

Double tap that heart if you can relate!

We don’t get a date night out often, but if we do…

🍽️ We have the restaurant to ourselves because it’s 4 p.m. 😂

🍽️ We have to FaceTime the kids at least once

🍽️ We just might end up at @costco or @target to enjoy the shopping trip without the kids

Fact: We want to survive. Your baby is going to tr Fact: We want to survive. Your baby is going to try to compensate any way they can to eat. This means that if you’re bottle feeding with a high-flow nipple - did you know all nipples do not have the same flow, even if they’re the same level?- or have a milk supply that gushes in, important signs of feeding difficulties may go unnoticed at first.

This is where I help! (And I am learning some really neat feeding screener tools from @halliebulkin for older littles this week too 😍)

(To name just a few)

Look for:

-Chomping at the breast
-Lip blisters
-Open mouth breathing
-Gasping at feeds
-Pushing away from the feed via body or tongue
-Gas/Colic

Trust your parent gut!

There is so much more to feeding and what it is revealing to us about your baby’s whole self- any trauma, tightness (ties and others), sensory needs, deficiencies, allergies… It’s an important journey.
