My Simple Trick For Sticky Kiddo Situations

It’s inevitable that 8 out of 10 times when I get my kiddo out of the car or from school her hands are sticky and covered in some sort of goo. I’m not about to have her spread the stickiness and germs, but I’m not confident giving her a wipe with chemicals that could hurt her, either, so I’ve come up with another solution. My SImple Trick For Sticky Kiddo Situations

I opted for the chemical-free mess reducer — water-based wipes. WaterWipes is a chemical-free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients: 99.9% pure Irish water and .1% grapefruit seed extract. Yes, it’s a “baby wipe,” but it’s durable and oh so useful! I can cart these around to clean up my messy kindergartener, then lend them to a friend who’s in need of some extra wipes during an explosive diaper change because they’re safe for both little and big kids! WaterWipes are in my car within reach of S so that she can use them before her hands get too sticky and out of control, but I also keep a pack in my bag for my own messes throughout the day, too.

WaterWipes are available in the baby wipe aisle at Target in 60-count packs for use in the car or diaper bag or bigger packs if you like to stock up so they’re super easy for me to purchase without going out of my way. (I’m pretty much at Target about every other day.)

I’m also looking into the best options to stock up on for future kiddos and WaterWipes is top on my list because I’ve used them first-hand as a consumer but also worked with them at baby fairs. It’s a great family company that’s always willing to let new moms test out their safe alternative to chemical-laden wipes. WaterWipes has been involved with the bi-annual SF Birth & Baby Fair, an event I work with as a consultant, for several years and moms are always so excited to get their own trial WaterWipes in the goody bags. Once you feel the difference between these wipes and others you’re amazed at how soft yet strong they are. I used to have wipes break into pieces during poopy diaper changes when S was a baby (ew!) but when I started testing out WaterWipes I didn’t have that problem anymore so I’ve stuck with them and I’m so glad I did. bringing these wipes along on our recent trip to Disneyland
